Fixing the problem would be a costly project that would be paid for from the rivers. Salvaged sinkers--lost mahogany, rosewood and cocobilo logs clog the rivers of the Moskito Coast and some North Coast rivers. These valuable old growth logs woul fund the reforesting with balsa, bamboo, and tropical hardwoods Full employment, forests products for the future--economic boom.
