President Roberto Micheletti just stated Nicaraguan troops are heading toward the border of Honduras. He called to the Nicaraguan leader to respect our sovereignty.

You people are delusional. You must be from the U.S.A. or one of its satellite states.
Miami is the other way, fellas.

The US president is an idiot to try to undermine the DEMOCRATIC process in Honduras. It just shows how ignorant he is about our own constitution.
It’s crazy that we have troops in Iraq trying to impose a democratic government and we are telling an already democratic government that their own due process is invalid. What the F_____???

Nicaraguan troops should not interfer in Honduras Political Affairs and respect the countries sovereignty.
Zelaya supporters should wake up and see that their President’s continued rule was eventually going to turn into a dictator that will strip all the constituents rights. Zelaya was corrupt, he had a plan in mind for many years to come. He was planning to be Presdient of Honduras for a very longtime.
God Bless the strong & powerful Honduran Army from removing him from power.
“Democracy” is the future of Honduras.

God bless Nicaragua for standing up for Honduran sovereignity in the face of CIA-inspired control via military dictatorships! Go Nicaragua, the Honduran people will welcome you, aside from the ever-traitorious elites who are ever happy to sell out their fat bank accounts!

The biggest joke of this entire fiasco is that Nicaragua has the will, wherewithal and resources to not only invade Honduras, but to help return Honduras to democratic sovereignty.
Come on, amigos: with what money would Nicaragua conduct such an operation? And what leadership? That aging nutter, Daniel Ortega? Por favor . . .
And remember, Honduras is flat broke – that’s why nobody is there already. There’s nothing but platano and yucca for an invading army to steal – sin oro, sin diamantes, sin gasolina. Nada. When the foreign aid stops flowing (as of today), it’s just a mater of time till the military flips – of that we may be sure.
And what’s more, an invasion forgets the number one rule per all Latino military forces: they never fight actual wars, rather they only intimidate, control, terrorize and “defend” their own people.
Honduras is on their own with this one. They’re on a road to utter starvation, so don’t expect the current situation to last too long.

Nicaragua knows best not to interfer in Honduras Political Affairs. The Interm Government has agreed to hold early Presidential Elections which will be the best decision for the Hondurian people.

My prayers are with Honduras. This was not a coup! I am so sorry that “reporters” do not report but editoralize. President Micheletti please allow Zelaya to return, then arrest Zelaya on charges of treason. Turn away the other interlopers with him. May GOD continue to bless Honduras and it’s wonderful people!

There are signs of a shift in media support for the Government.
But International news coverage is still biased.
Positive articles came out this weekend from BBC, Wall Street Journal and Investor Business Daily. Senator Demint has been a vocal supporter in the U.S. Hopefully he can rally more Congressional support. John Kerry came out last week with support but haven’t heard too much from him. 300 talk show hosts around the U.S. are providing positive coverage every day. Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity have made it a major topic on their TV/radio shows every day last week

For those that support Zelaya, here’s an article from a rather leftist American magazine that may have predicted Honduras’ future:

Capitalism allows you to earn what you are willing to work for. I hope Hondurans will always be allowed to achieve all they are capable of.

The troops are not sent by Nicaragua’s president and they are not going to attack Honduras, at all.

Hey my friends Honduran soldiers: abran bien
– He dicho.

Not to worry the Honduran Millitary will defeat the Nicaraguan Millitary, just dont want to hear them cry for their losses due to their ignorance of unnessasary involvment Viva Honduras!!! Si Se Puede tambien Obama!!!!!!!
26 La Nica // Jul 6, 2009 at 8:29 am

Why would Nicaragua troops be heading toward the borders?
I know my people are worried and concern about the state of our nation, so am I, this problem must be solved not because it is deplomatically expedience but because it is morally compelling.
Late Kennedy was right when he said that ” man kind must put end to war or a war will put end to man kind.”
Now the time is mutual, if you continue to wait it can work on your behalf but it can also work against you, the time to do right is now and the time to do right is always right so we will stand together and fight for what is right….
God continue to bless Honduras of Centro America…

Honduras maybe better off without Zelaya and his far/ far left friends Chavez and Ortega. The people of Honduras’s current Administration are strieving to keep their country a Democracy and not a dictatorship.
30 MIke P // Jul 6, 2009 at 11:41 am
Two wrongs don’t make one right… Honduras militia is acting wrong…. they wanted Zelaya off power they should had done it the democratic way since they claim to be protecting it, it would had show their case by doing it the right way… but they are as good as the guy the kicked out, so what ’s the difference between these two parties…. NONE…

NO A LOS MISQUINOS GOLPISTAS QUE SE QUIEREN SEGIR APROVECHANDO DE LOS POBLRES.
”
36 CATRACHO // Jul 6, 2009 at 6:18 pm

I am from honduras i vote for Obama but now i am disappointed he is not traying to help us.
41 Francisco // Jul 7, 2009 at 10:22 pm
I think Obama should pay very close attention and try to get a better understanding of the problem in honduras before removing any military protection. This problem is too close to home, meaning the USA to be taking so lightly.
42 don // Jul 13, 2009 at 5:45 pm
My wife has family in Honduras, so we are watching this very close. I wonder if the Latino People are watching how Obama has turned his back on them.
43 Bill // Jul 13, 2009 at 9:22 pm
If the removal of the president by the military happened in Iran or Venezuela the world would be applauding. We need to know more, like this is the third time Honduras has done this in one lifetime.
44 Orlando Calderin // Jul 14, 2009 at 8:29 am
I agree honduran Army did the right move. It was criticable, but the best way to get rid of a
violator to the Honduran constitution. To let The man to continue to in charge it had been worse.
45 Orlando Calderin // Jul 14, 2009 at 8:31 am
That is the way I think. I can not restrict my opinion on the matter.
