Zelaya’s plane attempted to land, and was turned around by the airforce. A flight plan was not filed, permission was not requested to land, therefore it was not granted. Aeronautical law does not allow any flight to land anywhere without requesting permission. If it is an emergency landing, permission must still be asked, declaring it is an emergency. Permission to land will then be granted, and the emergency situation analyzed after landing.

To hell with the current adminstration. The people of the United States stand with the Honduran people.

The Houndurian Government made a courageous decision to oust Zelaya from office before it is too late. They stood up to preserve their countries constitution and respect the Houndurian Citizens rights.
Zelaya was leanning more towards Hugo Chavez style of ruling which will eventually lead to a dictator style of ruling. Cuba(dictatorship), Bolivia, Venezuela are starting to become examples of Cuba.
A referndum to change a countries constitution to extend a President’s term does not fall under the term “Democracy”.

A severe blow dealt to Hugo Chavez & Iranian influence in the region. God Bless the courageous Hondurian Army for preserving their constitutional rights.

Pro-Democracy supporters should protest in support of their interm President, Government and their Army for preserving their countries constitution. They should reject Zelaya’s return to Honduras. Democracy is the future for the people of Honduras.

Zelaya was a corrupt man who was planning to nationalize all private business, banks, & strip away people’s freedom. He was working in coordination with Hugo Chavez to nationalize all private business sectors under Hondurian Government control. He was planning to forcefully take away the business of a hard working Hondurian Citizen and place it under government control. He was planning to become the next powerful dictator of Honduras next to Hugo Chavez.
It is also beleived that Zelaya was involved in Cocaine trafficking through Latin America. He is under investigation by Hondurian Police as evidence has proven of his involvement in the drug trade.
Is this the President that Honduras Citizens want for their country? Zelaya is not a man for “Democracy”, but rather a “Dictator” waiting to happen.

I hope this situation does not prolong, because the ones that will suffer are the poor people of Honduras.
I support the government 100%

God Bless the Honduran people!
You were right to expel your wannabe dictator for life.
I am not surprised the pseudo Saviour Obama is siding with Chavez rather than the majority of Hondurans.

I agree with ‘Unknown’; the Honduran people–including the congress and senate, acted in accordance to their democratic constitution regarding the matter of their deposed president.

Zelaya’s future plan was exposed by the Honduran Army and members of the Government. His warming up to Chavez in recent years was a sign to the Honduran Citizens that Zelaya was planning to establish his dictator base in Honduras just like Chavez & Morales are doing. Unfortunately, the idea was terminated right from the start.
This is a major BLOW to HUGO CHAVEZ!!!!!

Javier,I guess a Communist country like Cuba and Venezuela ,whose people live in the most miserable way, actually, only surviving, from day to day, while the governments fill their pockets and their stomacks,is better than the US.
You must be one of the privileged ones,or someone did a job on your brain!!!!
