Talks are continuing, but Roberto Micheletti is returning to Honduras after participating in discussions with the Costa Rican mediator, Arias. The team will remain in hopes of finding middle ground. Mel Zelaya would not meet face to face with Micheletti.

This goes to prove that Mel is not intrested in resolving the issues. He is only intrested in his own agenda. I hope the world pays attention to his actions.

The world can look at the governments that are operated by the individuals that are trying to force a democratic (truly) country into dictator ship, and plainly see what Zelaya’s intentions are. Hondurans are brave to stand up for freedom and democracy.

The old adage, Give enough rope, they will hang themselves, definitely applies with this character. I wonder if people know that he only has a high school diploma.
Our state department doesn’t have a clue how to deal with this because they have no clue about the culture. Leave Honduras alone and let them take care of there issues as they see fit.

At least the political leaders, military and judicial system of Honduras threw this bum out before he could convert his one term into a life term violating the consitution of Honduras.
Panama, Costa Rica and Honduras are we have left in Central America as Chavez has bought the rest.

It makes freedom loving people proud to see Hondurans standing up for their country. They are incredibly brave to face the entire world and stand by their view that they have taken the correct action. What is so frustrating is that every nation stood against this action so quickly with so little knowledge of the truth. In the international world today – truth seems to have little place. Bless the brave Hondurans!

The Honduran Government & the Army dealt a major blow to Hugo Chavez.

I read that Micheletti refused to meet with Zelaya and that Micheletti blocked Zelaya’s commission members from attending. Micheletti won’t go back to Costa Rica cause he’s afraid of being arrested. The world is against him. As a coup leader, he could have (and should have) been arrested the moment he set foot on foreign (Costa Rican) soil. Well intentioned, intelligent, elitist, imperialist men can no longer hold power over the people. Their time is over. The roosters today are crowing on a brand new time for the human family. It is time for the people to rise up and have the power. It is time to make poverty history & to make unbridled greed history too. The rich have gotten richer, while the poor have gotten poorer – for too long already. Besides, what does it profit a man to gain a fortune and lose his soul?!

John ONeill ? WTF Where does this guy come from? I thought the aliens have already come and gone with their “containers”. Give me a break. I have a sister in Honduras and have been trying to keep a keen eye on the situation. Unfortunately it appears that the international media has a biased agenda and only reports on one side of this story. If we drop the ball on this issue, it will be damaging blow to freedom and democracy the world over. I personally will hold Barak Hussein Obama responsible if he fails to support the opposition to Zalaya in Honduras.

The only plausible middle ground could be to advance the election process for a new president. In this way the good faith of both sides could be stblisehd and vindicated..If not Zelaya should not even bother to negotiate his return. We have ideals, we have wants and needs, also politicals and social faccions to defend or to adhere but none of these are vinculant as the constitution is to a people or a nation… Regardles of pressure hinduras should hold fast to what we believe in..Our freedoms and peace can only be guaranteed if the constitution is maintained inviloate…THI IS SERIOUS..Imagine tellign God that we would like to dismantle one of the ten comanndments whcih are no more and no less than the constitution of life itself.
