“I spoke personally with him and welcomed him to Brazilian territory,” Amorim said during a visit to the Brazilian mission of the U.N. in New York, according to the Estado news agency.
Amorim said that Brazil’s government had no involvement with Zelaya’s arrival at the embassy in the Honduran capital, Tegucigalpa. He called Zelaya Honduras’ legitimate president, however, and said that Brazil would intercede with the Organization of American States to assure Zelaya’s safety and right to hold peaceful dialogue while in Honduras.
“If the OAS is not for guaranteeing a democratic government, what’s it for?” Amorim questioned.
The OAS, however, will be unable to visit Honduras tomorrow as originally planned, as Honduran airports are closed to international flights until further notice.
Amorim confirmed reports of protests outside Brazil’s embassy in Honduras on Monday by groups in favor of the government that ousted Zelaya.

That is a total lie for Brazil to sat they are not involved. It would be laughable if they were not distturbing the peace of a friendly country. It is time to cut off diplomatic relations with Brazil and send the staff of the embassy packing along with the criminal that they have inserted back into the country. This a bellicose by a foreign power on Honduran soil. They are not just providing shelter they are allowing this criminal to stir up trouble inthe heart of our capital. This shameful.

brasil has the right to diplomatic immunity on honduras soil…if your leader wasn’t so corrupt and power hungry, then other countries wouldn’t have to intervene…if zelaya was not back in honduras, global conflicts would arrise and the citizens of honduras would have to pay for a bad leader’s greed…brasil is trying to be diplomatic in helping to restore peace or at least dialogue between zelaya and the temporary government..if zelaya is not restored to his position, what will become of the elections in november? several countries would not recognise the new government, thus leaving honduras as a solidary figure.

Z’liar will be a prisoner in the Brazilian embassy until first, he is granted political asylum and second he is granted permission by the Honduran government to go to the airport and fly to Brazil. His other choice is to face the Honduras justice system for the crimes he committed. Z’liar is in a real bind.
Very interesting!……
Is he still saying PATRIA, SOCIALISMO O MUERTE???!!!!!!

This is such a shame in that Brazil is helping to facilitate possible unrest and turmoil in Honduras, a country I have grown to love. My wife is from Honduras, and I am happy to say I did not vote for our leftist president Obama, who with Hillary Clinton has been applying pressure to Honduras to re-install a dictator. This situation may very well blow up now that Zelaya sneaked back in like the Rat he is.

Good for you Hondurans. I thought that Brazil had called off diplomatic relations with Honduras. What are they still doing there, anyway? Now that Zelaya is back, we’ll get to see who Obama and Clinton back in Honduras….Zelaya and Chavez, or the Honduran Congress and Supreme Court, as well as the majority of the Honduran People. Do they wave the Red, White, and Blue ? or a Hammer and Sickle?

Many of us in the USA are very ashamed of how Obama (whom many refer to as Fraud-bama – since he will not produce a birth certificate to indicate he is eligible to be our president) and Hilliary Clinton (who is acting like his mindless obedient subservient puppet) have PUNISHED instead of REWARDED Honduras for resisting a socialist takeover. Of course, it is becoming more obvious each day how radical of a socialist Obama himself is – so why should he not be backing Zelaya? We are thankful that Obama will be out of the White House in 3 years. May God give strength and wisdom to the de facto Michiletti government in these challenging days – to keep their country democratic.

The best thing would be to send a priest in to the Brazillain embassy for 30 minutes to minister last rites to Zelaya, let him get back out safely, then blow the hell out of the embassy.

It has been very angering and embarrfassing to witness the stupid mindless naegative actions by the Obama administration against Honduras for how Honduras had properly and wisely accted to protect its democracy and constitution from being turned into a Hugo Chavez- Venezuela socialist country. Thankfully we will have Obama out of the White House in 3 years, if not sooner – and Hillary as well. Thnnk God for the few bold U.S. congress people such as Sen. Jim DeMint, who is sitll holding up Latin American diplomatic appointments to those who demanded Zelaya’s return. God loves Honduras and will answer our prayers!

He had to sneak in like a rat on a ship. Just like most deseases brought into any country. Nothing good will come from this. The interim government are determined to set an example to the leftist groups. You are not welcome. Not there or anywhere else for that matter. The U.S. Venezuela and Brazil should be held accountable. Its a shame that in this day in age some have still not figured out that socialism and communism doesnt work. Get that through your thick skulls..

Many of us here in America are very ashamed of, embarrassed by and angered by the steps that Obama and hEllary have taken against Honduras – when Honduras was only acting properly and wisely to maintain its democracy and not allow a Hugo Chavez-Venezuelan socialist takeover. God loves Honduras! Pray hard to him during these days!

Many of us in the USA are very very ashamed and embarrassed and angered by the steps that the Obama administration has taken (removing 30 million in aid and visas) towards Honduras -when Honduras was acting to proect its democracy and should have been REWARDED and not punished. Pray harder than you ever have for your country during these hard days!

America was very foolish to have put this man in office who no one knew anything about. They wee just overwhelmed by his VOICE. Obama has spent 1.5 million dollars to 3 law firms to keep sealed and hidden all of his medical and academic records, including all of his articles, reports, essays in college – because they will show how radical of a socialist he is. Now his socialist bent will possibly result in bloodshed in Honduras.

If Zelaya really cared about his precious Honduras, he would respect its institutions and their judgment, and stop dividing and riling up the people to their own detriment.
The fact that he keeps on insisting like this, as if he were some kind of Messiah without which Honduras cannot survive, says a lot about his true nature. No, he doesn’t care about the poor or about Honduras. He only cares about himself and his power.
Or else, if he really in his heart of hearts believes he loves his people, his ideology is so twisted that he believes only he can truly save them. Either way he’s either a selfish jerk or an ideological wacko– both are dangerous for Honduras.

A list of lies:
1) Zelaya is no trying to establish himself as a leftist dictator in Honduras.
2) Zelaya did not break any laws when he tried to run a referendum that would let him know if the people of Honduras was in agreement with him in changing the Constitution of Honduras.
3) Zelaya understands the needs and feelings of the poor.
4) The OSA, the UNO, the Government of USA and all the leftist suporters of Zelaya have the interest of the Honduran people as their goal.
5) Honduras is not going to respond to this latest attack on our liberty and freedom.
6) The biggest lie yet:
Hillary Clinton does not know that she just called for bloodshed of Hondurans, just as Zelaya meant something else when he called for his suporters to take to the streets and act violently.
All lies, and all of them made up by a bunch of Communists.

I voted for Obama and regret it. If I knew about the hiding of birth certificates and college records I would not have voted for him. I will not vote for him again. I will stay Democrat to participate in the primaries and vote to oppose him. I will vote Republican in the final vote.
