Kenia Melissa Andrade represented Honduras in Miss International 2009, held in Chengdu, China. There have been 2,364 contestants in the 49 Miss International Pageants since 1960. Ms. Andrade took home the trophy for Best National Costume.

Claudio Antonio Moreno will represent Honduras in the “Mr. Expo World 2009” competition this weekend in Nicaragua. Mr. Moreno is 19 years old and a university student.
