CA Borders Reopen

The Executive Director of COHEP, Benjamin Bogran, explained that according to the results of a legal analysis, the conclusion was that the countries of Central America who accepted the blockade against Honduras were in violation of the Agreement of Central American Economic Integration.

The Federation of Farming and Agro-industrial Cameras “Federación de Cámaras Agropecuarias y Agroindustriales (Fecagro) rejected the decision of Guatemala, El Salvador and Nicaragua to close the borders of commerce with Honduras, as it was detrimental to the economies of El Salvador, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Honduras.

The borders have reopened as a result.
