“Like when you accuse ‘Mel’ of not setting the budget and that money was available. It is now reported that he had saved 60 million lempiras, that was kept in the office of the former President Zelaya at the Presidential Palace, that is tax money of the Honduran people, he should not have access to that money”, Facusse said.

“He (Manuel Zelaya) was a revolutionist and openly said he wanted to change the Constitution, because he could not be re-elected again… “

He emphasized that “no one is above the law, even the President…obviously the former President Zelaya was committed to a course of action against the Constitution, and had the support of Chavez.”

Facusse stated that what has happened in the country is not a coup. Mel ‘has been saying that it was a coup, but that would mean that the military has command of the country, and assume all the power. They are not running the country, they are acting in adherence to the orders of the court. ”
