Guevara Plays Last Game in Honduras

Amado Guevara has played in his last game in the Honduran league and bid an emotional farewell to the fans of his club, CD Motagua. The report links him with a return to Major League Soccer, citing Toronto FC specifically.

Guevara, the 2004 MLS MVP, has been playing in Honduras this season and recent reports have indicated that TFC has been negotiating a release from CD Motagua over the past several weeks.

Guevara spent five seasons in the MLS, mainly with the MetroStars but was dealt to Chivas USA prior to the 2006 season where he had a falling out with the coach and was subsequently loaned out. Prior to the loan, TFC tried to acquire Guevara but he blocked the move to Toronto.
