Happy Birthday President-Elect Lobo!

The elected president, Porfirio Lobo Sosa, celebrated his 62nd birthday today in San Pedro Sula. Porfirio Lobo said he was excited by the support he has received from the various departments of the country and the leadership of his party.

Business leaders, nationalist politicians, and his family accompanied him. Among them were Ricardo Alvarez, reelected mayor of Tegucigalpa, and the President of the National Party Central Committee, Rafael Leonardo Callejas.

“Porfirio Lobo campaigned very well, which allowed him to have a historic victory in all departments of Honduras,” said Rafael Callejas, former president of Honduras (1990-1994).

Meanwhile, Ricardo Alvarez said, “we celebrate the triumph of nationalism, and the birthday of the President-elect”.

The Supreme Electoral Court on Monday made official the overwhelming victory of Porfirio Lobo, stating he had the most votes in the history of Honduras.

President-elect Lobo said he needs the support of former candidates, former presidents, and all areas of the country to move Honduras forward after recent events.

Porfirio Lobo Sosa was born on December 22, 1947 in Trujillo, Colon.

The best present Pepe Lobo could get is the recognition he deserves as president elect by the current administration of the USA government.

If Obama & Co. were to publicly admit that there was no Coupe d’Etat in Honduras as they originally said there was, many of Honduras problems would resolve themselves almost overnight, and that would in turn allow for Pepe to be the good president that he can be.

So happy birthday Mr. President Elect, and hopefully Obama and Hillary can be more humble and admit that not all of the world agree with them about socialism, and the people of the small (in territory, not courage) country of Honduras had the resolve to demostrate that thru the proper ways of defending a democracy.
