Honduran Singer Shot

Robert Steven Perez, the Honduran reggaeton singer “El Pery”, was killed on Tuesday when two assailants shot him shortly after he left his home.

The two gunmen on a motorcycle, hit Perez while he was driving in Tegucigalpa. Police affirm that it was not a robbery, because the killers did not take any of the cash (about 6,000 lempiras) that Perez had on him.

Apparently, Perez had begun receiving death threats by telephone several months ago.

El Pery was a member of the group BuLLaKa MuSiK, and married to former television host, Davner Suazo.

Here we have a man making a honest living true his talent, and happens, he developes enemies.

Although this happens every where in the world in relation to the Music Industry, for it to hapen in Honduras is very sad, just how much competition can be there that would warrant this kind of behaviour??

This are the things that Mr. Pepe Lobo should be looking at, instead of trying so hard to keeps his socialist University friends happy.

That is why your country is showing signs of being unhappy with you Mr. Lobo, I remember you did assure the people that you were not aiming to be a “populist” head of state, but this is a little bit too much.

I do not hear or see anything on the news about you declaring a certain and clear need to start acting to resolve the issues of crime and extremelly bad behaviour that the state employees show toward our country.

The Doctors and teachers are simply being ridiculous, constantly on strike or not caring about their job performance, the security forces unable to move against the criminal elements because of assinine “Human Rights” intervention by which the only humans protected are the criminals themselves.

And here you go, although is commendable that you show an interest in forming a Bi-Partisan Government, how come you only keep those members of the “Liberal Party” who show a marked tendency to the ‘Left’?

I am very sure that the majority of Liberals are not so inclined, so why them?
Could it be memmories from the Lumumba days?

Come on Mr. Lobo, Honduras has a great need for a great leader, try and be one.

Our country deserves better that what is getting, how do you suposse you are going to get investors and tourists to come when you do not offer any guarantees?

Do you really believe that the World ignores the track record of people like Castro, Chavez, Evo and others that have taken so many business away from their founders?

The fact that you have so many ‘Leftists’ in you Governemnt only shows your lack of understanding of how economies really work:

No proffits, no company and therefore no jobs, that brings a simple truth: no salaries!!!
It is as simple as that .
