Marathon Wins Over Mexico!

Marathon beat out Mexico, 2-0 yesterday, in the first part of the CONCACAF Champions League quarterfinal.
Walter Martinez, forward, scored a penalty shot in the 17th minute, and Carlos Will Mejia scored from the same location in the 52nd minute of the game.

Turkey scored a 2-0 win over Honduras in the international friendly soccer game today.
“(Turkey) gave us a good examination and we’d never faced rivals with the qualities of the Turks. I hope (coach Reinaldo) Rueda comes to some very good conclusions to fix our mistakes,” said Rafael Ferrari, the head of the Honduras national teams’ committee.
