The Government of Honduras and the Spanish engineering company Ineco have signed a framework collaboration agreement in the field of transport infrastructure. Its term is 28 months.

With this agreement, the Government of Honduras aims to increase the quality and competitiveness in the transport sector as well as to stimulate the social and economic development of the country, following the example of the Spanish experience in transport infrastructure management and implementation.

The actions planned involve all modes of public transport: air, rail, sea and road, and will include experience exchange and technology transfer; support to legislative development, design and joint implementation of programmes, plans, studies and projects; management activities and pre-investment plans, among other things.
