Students Forced to March for Zelaya

Instead of being in the classroom to receive “the bread of knowledge”, dozens of schoolchildren were forced into the streets Monday and Tuesday to join the march for the “resistance” held in the capital.

“They forced us to march with them and told us we would steal items from the school if allowed to remain behind; students from other classes told us that points received for marching are cumulative of the final grade,” a student said.

Since Monday, teachers have not taught classes in order to participate in the marches. The students could have been learning, or home helping their families, however, they took to the streets in the company of their teachers, who frightened the children with threats of possible failure if they did not participate.

Furthermore, typical band and marching practice for Honduran Independence Day parades by the schools have been infiltrated with politics. Teachers are being told not to allow students to participate in the patriotic September 15th parades, but rather join in marches for the resistance on that day.

Some schools who have decided to support the festivities in the country and participate in the parades, have altered the normal program of singing typical songs, to include songs or chants demanding the return of Manuel Zelaya.

Lets all get behind ACORN. The teacher’s are the first ones that need to be put in check. Right will be wrong and wrong will be right, just ask the teachers.

Hey Free Honduras, what makes you think Obama cares about Honduras? He is as bad as the rest of the “socialist” trash coming from Cuba, Central, and South America.
Hang in Catracchos, there are lots of us Americonos who are with you 100 per cent.

After almost a century of hearing and reading of this kind os instances the human race still harbors hope about ‘THE SOCIALIST SYSTEM’

It never ceases to amaze me how people simply wont accept the fact that hopes and desires do not necsesarilly mean reality.

Forcing kids to march in a politcal arena is simply typical of Police States, if people can’t see that one coming, then every is just as blind as GG.

And where are the parents of these children, what would it take for Hondurans to stop simply being victims of somebody else.
Parents, you are the ultimate defenders of your children’s rights and the ultimate authority as to what they can do, and what they can’t do.

See, Mr. Obama and Ms. Clinton, already signs of what was to come if Zelaya and his cronnies got to stay in power and managed to turn Honduras into just another Socialist Police State.

Children marching on political marches as per orders of their teachers, sounds like that Island not too far froom Key West.

One thing that baffles me is that when all these protests, etc are going on is there anyone working?

Teachers are not teaching. Are they still getting paid?

Protests in the streets. Is this during their lunch hour? or are they taking the day off?

The country is in serious termoil. What will it take to get people to realize what the long term results will be in this.

My heart and prayers go out to the children. They are the ones who will ultimitly suffer.

Wow, kids forced to march, this brings memories of documentaries about the old soviet block, you know, behind the Iron Curtain.

Oh, wait a minute, we do not have to go too far, it happens in Cuba too, and Venezuela, then again Red China does it too.

The similarities in behaviour are astonishing, I wonder why that is.

Lets ask obama and clinton: mr president and madame secretary of state, what do you think are the intentions and motives for this teachers that support zelaya when they force school children to march like this?

Obama: Oh, it is very easy to understand, they are getting the children to learn how to participate in demostrations that show thier support for the Dictator runing the country; Have you not seen how they do it in Cuba?
Those children most really love Fidel.

Hillary: Yeah, that is all there is, no manipulation of inocent brains, it is just getting the kids ready to rally in support of their leader.

Come on people, wake up to the reallity of the new World, how can you expect for Obama to reject Zelaya and Chavez when he himself talks about changing the Constitution as a solution to America’s current problems.

It is a crime to exploit children like this. Where is the international outcry? The world leaders, such as Obama and Arias, need to eat some crow now and admit that they backed the wrong horse. Everyday I despise Zelaya even more than I thought possible the day before. My only comfort is that soon he will be nothing more than a footnote in history to Chavez quest to destroy Latin America’s freedom.

Sir Castrozilla. Stop taking the cocain that Chavez and his distributor Zelaya are selling.

  13. Sir Castrozilla III  September 9, 2009 at 10:16 am

Micheletti’s regime, gives their employees a choice of march or be fired. They have really screwed up. By refusing to cooperate with the Honduran people, democracy and the world, they are only m aking things harder for themselves. Like stubborn children…

  14. Free Honduras  September 9, 2009 at 9:32 am

Typical socialist behavior. Indoctrination of children. Parents, confront your teachers and demand that they teach the curriculum not the Chavez socialist lies. Amazing how quickly they are moving in to deny choice and freedom of expression. Thank God Zelaya was removed. He and Chavez and their deluded followers make me sick, and I hope that one day they will be punished for what they are doing to the inocent people in Honduras who only desire is to live in peace and freedom.
Stay strong Catrachos. Free Honduras from Zelaya and Chavez
