Zelaya Disowns the Socialist Revolutionary Front

An alleged member of the Socialist Revolutionary Front [Frente Revolucionario Socialista (FRS)], which seeks the return of Manuel Zelaya to power, claimed responsibility Wednesday night for the sabotage that took place against an electric pylon of the ENEE in San Pedro Sula, as well as the placement of two explosive bombs in the center of the Multiplaza Mall.

In a telephone call to Once Noticias, Channel 11, who transmits in the capital, a member of this supposed revolutionary front said, “we take responsibility for attacks on the tower of the ENEE and others … as well as the explosive bombs placed in the shopping center (mall) Multiplaza. “The attacks will continue until Jose Manuel Zelaya is restored as our president, and if the coup government remains intransigent, we will continue our attacks until they return power to our president,” said the unidentified person.

The lawyer staying in the Brazilian Embassy in Tegucigalpa with Manuel Zelaya, Rassel Tome, thereafter called the news station to “disown” the alleged revolutionary front. We “reject and disavow such attacks. Our actions are peaceful, these actions are closer to the repressive actions of the coup than our forms of procedure. We urge the resistance group, as no stranger to violent acts, to keep fighting peacefully for the return to democracy,” he said.

On Monday, a pylon was sabotaged by unknown persons, and was about to cause heavy damage in San Pedro Sula, and explosive bombs were planted in the bathroom area of the Multiplaza Mall, which could have caused severe damage. The police, however, evacuated the area promptly and exploded one of the bombs in a controlled manner, while the other was defused by the authorities.

All Zelaya wants is to get back to power at any cost. In marxism the ends will justify the means. Communists will disown, ridicule, even kill their own to meet their goal. We have seen that repeatedly, from the old Soviet Union to Cuba and Venezuela. Marxists are great manipulators! If Zelaya were serious about being peaceful he would not be disrupting Honduran life by being a fugitive in the Brazilian Embassy. He thought Honduras would have risen to “liberate” him. But guess what, Mel. an overwhelming majority of Hondurans don’t want you; and the only reason you are still there is because of your powerful marxists friends, including Obama.

Whether he disowns this group or not…the truth is they are birds of the same feather…socialism. The blood of any deaths that occur and responsibility for property damaged are on Zelaya’s hands. He is a criminal and fugitive and needs to turn himself in – and stop fomenting destruction.
Brazil should act responsibly and stop allow this bozo to use it embassy as a base for his political acitons. One would think that the Brazilian congress would have made mula, I mean Lula, stop this unlawful action by this time. It clearly violates the Vienna Convention demands.
