Of course the bridge is damaged and all transportation has been cut off while they check the stability of the other bridge. Houses are damaged but as in my families case in some of their homes some things didnt even fall. People are scared and should remain alert.

As far as we heard two houses are down in las flores the campo. The major bridge is out but you can still get around to san pedro if you go around by way of the mountain it just takes alot longer. Eveybody seems to be a little shaken up because it happened when they were sleeping but they all seem to be ok. We were able to get phone service over there with no problem maybe it was a fluke but we have been calling different relatives to check up and we can get in touch , maybe try again now or maybe later on today. If you want get in touch with us and maybe some how we can get you info…….
It’s been very hard to get in touch with people over there but the few times I spoke with them their main concern was the power being out and potable water. In some places lights are still out and waters been cutoff. I know there’s also problems with certain barrios near the democracy bridge such as omonita which is where I have family. Their worry is the broken levees and the possibility of water over flowing into those areas.Continue callig and you may be in luck. But for the most part people are doing ok.
