Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano today announced the extension of the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) designations for Honduras and Nicaragua for 18 months each – through July 5, 2013.

Tomorrow, USCIS will publish a Federal Register notice for each country and provide additional guidance on:

• Re-registration eligibility requirements
• Fees and procedures
• When to file applications
