Najar was chosen to be part of the Honduras U-23 Men’s National Team, competing against Mexico, Panama, and Trinidad & Tobago. The tournament is scheduled to take place March 22nd through April 2nd.

D.C. United’s General Manager, Dave Kasper, complimented the player, “Andy is a special player and we are excited for him to debut in his first international tournament.”

Najar won the 2010 MLS Rookie of the Year award, and has played previously for the Honduran Selección.
