CONCACAF Continues

Honduras’ Reinaldo Rueda summoned 24 players to attend CONCACAF Gold Cup to be held from July 4-25 in several venues at the United States.

Rueda said the squad is comprised of young players and experienced ones as well, though he regretted absences of midfielder Amado Guevara and striker David Suazo.

Guevara recently took Canadian league championship and he needs a rest, while Inter’s Suazo is recovering from an injury.

Those players summoned by Rueda to play Gold Cup must appear at San Pedro Sula on Monday to take a flight to North Carolina on the 25.

Panama are expected to play an international friendly against Panama on June 28 at North Carolina, according to Rueda’s schedule.

On July 1, Honduras will arrive in Seattle, where they will face Haiti three days later.
