Under the new Schedule of Fees, the costs of passports and other consular fees are set as follows:

A. PASSPORT SERVICES AND CIUDANÍA :
• The adult passport fee change from $ 100 to $ 135.
• The passport application fee for minor changes from $ 85 to $ 105.
• The fee for passport renewal for adults will change from $ 75 to $ 110.
• It would impose a new fee of $ 82 to add pages to the passport.
• The fee for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad will change from $ 65 to $ 100.
• A new fee of $ 450 will be established to document the formal renunciation of U.S. citizenship , which applies only to those who choose to take the Oath of Renunciation under Section 349 ( a) (5 ) of the INA.

B. SPECIAL SERVICES AND IMMIGRANT VISAS :

• The rate for cases of immediate relatives and preference (processed on the basis of approved I -130 , I- 600 or I-800 ) now will be $ 330.
• All other requests for immigrants, including individual requests , special requests and Visa Diversification , will cost $ 305 .
• Rate Diversification Visa (DV ) (which is charged in addition to the application process and the security surcharge ) will change from $ 375 to $ 440.
• The security surcharge for immigrant visa – which must be charged to all applicants who are not exempt, increase from $ 45 to $ 74.
• The fee applies to determine whether a resident return decreases from $ 400 to $ 380.

C. SERVICE OF DOCUMENTS:

• Notarial services and genuine and currently cost $ 20 to $ 30 , now all cost $ 50.

D. JUDICIAL ASSISTANCE SERVICES :

• The fee to process supplications increase from $ 735 to $ 2,275 .
. The rates for the taking of depositions and implementation committees for the taking of testimony will change as follows :
or to schedule / arrange appointments for depositions , from $ 475 to $ 1,283 ;
witnessing or taking depositions or executing commissions the taking of testimony , the charging time consular changes from $ 265 per hour to $ 309 per hour plus costs ;
or swearing of witnesses for depositions by telephone and monitoring of depositions by telephone, the time consular fee changes from $ 265 per hour to $ 231/hora ;
or provide seal and certification of depositions , from $ 70 to $ 415.

The Embassy accepts payments in U.S. dollars or its equivalent in Lempiras. The exact amount is required. The Consular Agency in San Pedro Sula does not accept credit card payments; personal checks are not accepted at any location. The Embassy does accept international credit cards (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Diners Club, and Discover).
