Thursday morning Honduras experienced two earthquakes. The first was 4.6 degrees on the Richter scale, with a depth of 15 kilometers, and occurred at 01:53:58 am, in the community of El Colozal. The second occurred at 02:01:54 with a magnitude of 3.1 degrees, located off the coast of La Ceiba, Atlantida at a depth of 15 km reported the Permanent Contingency Commission, Copeco.
The earthquakes were confirmed by the National Institute for Territorial Studies in Nicaragua, Inet, and Copeco.
