Stein Barillas was Vice President of Guatemala during Oscar Berger’s government (2004-2008). He will be participating in the “Truth Commission”, the creation of which is one of the points required in the Tegucigalpa-San Jose Agreement.

Mr. Barillas said that, in his opinion, the commission should have a duration not to exceed six months, and that President Lobo Sosa should nominate as many people as he deems appropriate to integrate into the commission.
