Guevara in FIFA 2010

Toronto FC announced Monday that midfielder Amado Guevara and defender Marvell Wynne have been named to their respective final rosters for the upcoming FIFA 2010 World Cup Qualifiers. Guevara (Honduras) and Wynne (U.S.) will both depart for their respective camps right after Toronto FC’s game with the Houston Dynamo in Houston on Saturday, May 30.

The U.S. MNT will play two qualifiers; their first one on Wednesday, June 3 in San Jose against hosts Costa Rica. The Americans sit atop the final group with seven points after two wins and a draw. Their second game will be played in Chicago on Saturday, June 6 against Honduras.

Honduras will play their second qualifier on Wednesday, June 10 on home turf as they welcome El Salvador. Honduras currently sits third in the group with a total of four points after a win, loss and draw.
