Honduran Murder Suspect Found in USA

A Honduran who was repeatedly deported from the United States but managed to return has been arrested once again — this time for murder.

Federal agents arrested Pedro Antonio Martínez Escobar, 37, on charges that he was illegally in the United States. Martínez is expected to be charged criminally for repeatedly re-entering the United States after being deported. Federal agents said Martínez Escobar re-entered the United States at least four times since 1994.

In the Martínez Escobar case, the FBI advised immigration authorities on Aug. 13 that Interpol had issued a notice for the Honduran because he was wanted for murder in his homeland…
