Honduran Sub-17 soccer team wins 6-0 against Cuba

Our boys played this afternoon with the mission of making a performing at their best at the Caliente stadium in Tijuana, Mexico, against Cuba who started off bad by losing to the United States 5-0, who is one of the strongest candidates to classify to the sub-17 World Cup.

The Honduran team started off slow with a tie of 1-1 against Canada, playing a great game against them. For this reason, the Honduran team has to correct their mistakes made on their first game, one of the mistakes was the lack of effectiveness at the time of arriving at the goal and the most important is not to be over confident, because although the representatives from the Caribbean island failed in their first try, they can have an inspiring afternoon and complicate our world cup aspirations. The trainer for the Honduran team Emilio Umanzor, who has helped the sub-20 team classify to the World Cup in Egypt, he wants to do the same with the sub-17 team who has shown that they want to leave a mark and make history.

The Honduran sub-17 soccer team has only classified once to a World Cup in this category for Korea 2007.

Without any problems, the sub-17 soccer team of Honduras scored 6-0 against Cuba with a hat trick from Anthony Lozano in this second round of pre-world cup that is disputed in Tijuana and is to qualifying for the World Cup of this category in Nigeria.

The Honduran team summed four points with this victory and is the current leader of Group B and is awaiting the results from the game between USA and Canada. Honduras will play against USA this Saturday.
