Better attention to Immigrants

The authorities of the Chancellery met with a delegation of the State of Chiapas, Mexico, to approach several important subjects, such as provide a better attention to immigrants, since thousands of Hondurans circulate around this area annually. The vice-chancellor Eduardo Reina pointed that Chiapas has been near Central America with which Honduras has been working with to see how they can show respect to Human Rights of the immigrants from Honduras and the rest of Central America.

The Chiapas International Relations coordinator for Chiapas, Juan Carlos Cal and Mayor Franco where present at this meeting; as well as the president of the Supervisory Confederation of the Mexican Republic (Coparmex), Carlos Cautiño; the president of the Chamber of Commerce in Chiapas, Jorge Amin Simon and the Migration Attention of Chiapas director, Gustavo Gutierrez.

Chiapas has been opened to improve the Human Rights of immigrants, as well as the subject of commerce and investment.

The Chiapas International Relations coordinator for Chiapas, Juan Carlos Cal and Mayor Franco said the objective of his visit to our country is to notify the authorities of Honduras what they do in their country to improve the attention and make sure the immigrants Human Rights are not violated in any way.

That daily drama that the immigrants live on the territory of Chiapas and although it is not the real competition of the state government, the subject of the migration is very delicate to us, it worries us and it interests us to take care of the subject and to extend the agenda to the commercial interrelation with Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala.
