Honduras Elections 2013 – New Gallup / CID poll suggest Xiomara Castro de Zelaya can become the next President of Honduras

With just over 6 months before the elections, a new gallup poll shows that the presidency of Honduras is up in the air! According to the news, if the elections would have taken place the first week in May, Xiomara Castro de Zelaya would have won the presidency with 28% of the votes. The second runner up is Salvador Nasralla, with 21% of the votes. In a the third place is the current president of congress, Juan Orlando Hernadez with 18% of the votes and in fourth is Mauricio Villeda with 14% of the votes. A quick overview shows that there are only 14% percentage votes between the first and the fourth contenders in the race.
