Honduras May Be Discussed Monday

Though it may not be on the agenda, there may be debate over US-backed efforts to readmit Honduras to the OAS following its suspension in June last year over the coup that toppled president Manuel Zelaya.

OAS Secretary General Jose Miguel Insulza said Honduras will come up in a free session on Monday but a Peruvian government source said some states prefer to avoid such debate for fear it could degenerate into an ideological row.

For many Latin American countries, Honduras cannot return to the OAS unless Zelaya is allowed to return peacefully from exile, according to Insulza.

Shifter said there remained a “sharp difference” over readmitting Honduras to the OAS between the United States and Brazil, which sheltered Zelaya in its embassy in Tegucigalpa during a long stand-off following the coup.

Analyst Christopher Sabatini, an executive at the New York-based Americas Society and Council of the Americas, told AFP it might be possible for the OAS to reach a consensus on a “process” for readmitting Honduras…excerpt from AFP News.

    Following what “Coup”??
Why is it the that leftist insists on calling a rightful and legal removal of a president that violated Constitutional Law a Coup, could it be simoly because they would have preferred that Zelaya staid in power thus turning Honduras into the next ‘Socialist Police State’??

Look at which are those countries protesting the expulsion a that traitor Zelaya:
Venezuela, Cuba, Ecuador, Nicaragua, Argentina, Bolivia…
    Does anybody need any explanations??
The socialist organizations in Honduras have tried for many years (close to 80) to get the Honduran people to agree with their believes, and they have not been able to acomplish this, so here comes Zelaya, funded by Chavez and tries to sneak in the back door, but he was discovered, caught and punished accordingly, and for that Honduras was punished, talk about unfairness and denying the people their right to democratic process, no body elected Zelaya to run the country as a Socialist Dictator, and he was expelled out of the country as a wise move by responsible people who simply wanted to avoid bloodshed, ah, but I forget, the Left does not care if there is bloodshed, they see it as part of the process, to the point that sometimes it does not stop for years after they take over, history proves me right, so stop it already, do not try to punish Honduras anymore simply because we said not to your hunger for domination.
Leave us in peace already; Do you really want to help??
Allows to fight corruption and illeteracy, our tru enemies.
