Honduras Players Arrive in Austria

Honduras’ National Soccer Team arrived late today in Austria, where it will hold its pre-World Cup training camp. The Honduran players, led by coach Reinaldo Rueda, arrived after more than a four hour delay from another training camp in Heidelberg, Germany.

Earlier plans to stay in the resort town of Bad Bleiberg had to be changed after severe rain made the training ground there unusable. The Honduran team will now be staying at the Falkensteiner Hotel Carinzia in nearby Troepolach, until June 8th.

The team will play in three friendlies over the next two weeks: against Belarus on May 27th in Villach, against Azerbaijan on June 2nd in Zell Am See and finally, against Romania on June 5th in Sankt Veit an der Glan.
