Honduras finished third in the Central American Championship, prevailing over Panama 7-3 in a two-leg playoff while St. Vincent was second in the group finale of the Caribbean qualifying event, finishing behind Jamaica and ahead of Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

The winner will join the Young Reggae Boyz, United States and El Salvador in the qualifier which will decide two of four CONCACAF teams for the World Youth Cup in Egypt.
