The head of SAG, Jacobo Regalado, confirmed the signing of the protocol that will allow tomato export “in protected production.” He said it was important, pointing out that it is a new opportunity for Honduras to reach this market. Regalado also explained that the protected production includes production under a mesh system in greenhouses, or in a different production approach that is not in the fields.
