Honduras vs. El Salvador in the UNCAF Copa Centro Americana

The Honduras Selección will play the Salvadoran Selección in the first phase of the 2013 Central American Cup soccer tournament tonight. Game time is six p.m. The event is being held in San Jose, Costa Rica at the Costa Rica National Stadium.

The Honduran national soccer team held a practice this week at one of the many beautiful Honduras beaches, where they ran in the ocean (at some points over waist deep) and performed numerous agility drills in the sand.

The top five soccer teams from this tournament qualify for the 2013 CONCACAF Gold Cup, where Honduras is the defending champion.

This will be the third time Costa Rica hosts the Central American Cup. Their first tournament was in 1991, and the second was held in 1999. Costa Rica won the championship in both of those
