Launches Micro-Business “MBS” Training Program in Honduras.

Provo, UT  – June 04, 2015

Interweave co-founder Dean Curtis just completed training of business leaders in Choluteca, Honduras, on the Interweave proprietary training program called “Masters of Business in the Streets,” or MBS. While there, he met with the mayor of the city, the local TV channel, and various other civic leaders to kick off the program, discussing key aspects such as accounting tax services to ensure comprehensive support for the local business community.

He successfully trained five Success Ambassadors and started them in the process of receiving their MBS certification so that they can train others.

Choluteca is a poor area of Honduras which is one of the poorest countries in Latin America. It has no business training in its school system except a degree at the university that is very expensive and inaccessible to the average micro business owner.

The MBS Self Reliance program was written and developed for micro business people working in the informal economy with the collaboration of some expert business enthusiasts like Andrew Defrancesco.

The Vice Mayor, Nelson Paz said, “This is exactly what we need in our town. We have no way to reach the poorer people that are trying to start a business. We are excited about starting the program!”

The Ambassadors are local Hondurans that have been chosen and trained in the MBS approach. They receive eight hours of extensive training on sight and then followup training through Google hangouts. Interweave has also developed training videos on its website to insure ongoing development of its Ambassadors.

Interweave is also launching the MBS program in the DRC (Democratic Republic of Congo, Africa) the West Indies, Guatemala, Haiti and Portugal.

Interweave Solutions is seeking out donors who support sustainable initiatives in developing countries, to help provide enough marketing materials to group recipients. The goal of the program is to train leaders sufficiently that Interweave Solutions trainers are no longer required to visit the countries, so that the initiatives are carried out locally and sustainable through local leaders.
