Police reported that the 62 year old radio reporter had been shot dead, and is the tenth journalist killed in Honduras this year.

Mr. Zelaya was a commentator for Radio International in San Pedro Sula, and had complained to authorities three months ago, that a group of strangers had set fire to his house.

Police say they have no suspects or possible motive at this time.
