Under the agreement, Millicom’s local partner gave the company an unconditional call option for his 33% Celtel stake for the next five years, while Millicom has granted its partner a five-year put option for the eventuality of change of control of Millicom.

Following the deal, Celtel will be fully integrated into Millicom’s financial reports from the third quarter of 2010.
