Non-Immigrant Visas Issuing Begins Today

“In support of the recent agreement reached in the political crisis in Honduras, I am pleased to announce that as of Monday, November 2, 2009, the consular section resumed its Nonimmigrant Visa (NIV) services,” according to the statement issued by the U.S. representative in Tegucigalpa.

People with pending appointments will be called, and informed when they should report to the embassy, while other applicants may request this information from the Embassy.

Good, many Hondurans need them, and the fact that the holydays are coming neans many people will be able to see their relatives on those dates.
That is, if they are processed in time.
