Observers Congratulate Honduras

Half an hour before the closing of the polls, Colombian and Cuban observers congratulated the Honduran people for their democratic attitude and appearing at the polls in an overwhelming number.

“Honduran Elections are a triumph of democracy in Latin America. Congratulations are for the Honduran people who wanted democracy,” the Colombian observer, Miguel Andres Fierro said.

Colombian observer Jaime Restrepo said, “the plenary of the Latin American community can say, as a witness, Honduras presented an election fair, clean and transparent.”

When asked if they detected interference by military or some power of the state, Restrepo said that “the truth is that since yesterday it seemed strange to see the no military and police checkpoints, we were not detained nor questioned”. He continued, “Today we saw demonstrated a situation of absolute peace and tranquility and the Honduran people have shown the example of democracy for Latin America.”

The Cuban observer, Isidro Moscow, stated that what has occurred today in Honduras “is the end of dictatorial governments that have taken power and have wanted to stay in power. We give thanks to the courage of these people”.

Observers from different countries agreed that the election was carried out in peace and with a massive presence of Hondurans at the polls.

Thanks, to the international observers for taking the effort and time to see the “real democracy ” in Honduras. Now, you can tell the world the truth abouth this poor loving people of honduras that was dragged by this madman to shame ( Z’liar). You can convey it also to uncle Hugo and grandpa Fidel , Raul and Lula ….thanks for trying but they failed. So, let it be known to everyone that we are truly
proud of Honduras and the people of this country……for their democratic stand against
all odds. ” VIVA HONDURAS “

    Well said you guys.

There could be no clearer mesasage to thw world that Zelaya is not what Honduras wants to follow as a leader.

He called for abtensionism, and instead Hondurans went out to exercise their right to vote in record numbers.

    Any doubts Inzulsa, or Lula?

Stop trying to hurt Honduras already, this goes as well to Amnesty International (who seems to develop amnessia when the good people is attacked) and to the Humans Rights organization, one body which still has to answer my question as to what is their selection process to determine which humans have rights and which do not.

Slap in the face to you, Honduras still is:

The Republic of Honduras, Free, Sovereing and Independent.

    Good for Honduras.

    Pepe Lobo, congratulations on your win, the people chose you;
It is now time to get to work fighting corruption and crime, the 2 most damaging issues to Honduras economy and its people well being.

I think Micheletti, Congress, the armed forces and the Supreme Court deserve a lot of credit to stand all this pressure from the international community and not to succumb to it. But especially, the biggest credit goes to the overwhelming majority of the Honduran people who know better, unlike people in other Latin American nations who have elected Castro-communist loving officials and now are paying the consequenses for their mistake.
Today Democracy won in Honduras and Latin America, and Chavez and the Castro brothers have received a deadly wound.
