Order for President’s Capture

The president of Honduras, Manuel Zelaya, was stopped this morning by the military as they attempted to fulfill an order of the Court of Justice. Gunfire was exchanged at the President’s residence. Ultimately, Mel Zelaya was allowed to leave the country, and is currently in Costa Rica.

My wife is from Honduras and we live there. This man is the worst President in the Countries history. His alignment with Cuba, Venezuela, Nicaragua are proof of his intent. I CHEER the Hondurans for ousting an idiot. There constitution allows them to do this. THIS IS NOT THE U.S. and I am Glad.

R Andujar is having a kneejerk reaction to a political event in Central America. He should find out what happened.

I believe that this is the best that could happen to Honduras. I was there when I was in the contra and I know what the military think, I was milirary and I love to see problem solved.

Something did have to happen one way or another. If Mel wasn’t disposed, we would empower him more. And he would fulfill his agenda. There has been nothing but trouble since he came around. I’m fearful for what may come, but honestly I am happy that he was embarassed and forcefully taken out. After allowing Chavez to enter the country and speak as he wished about it’s citizens, he got what he deserved.

Let me see if I get it: Happy with a coup in your country?

Have you heard the word “impeachment” or “removed from power by the Congress”? Can you imagine if whenever there is disagreement a president is just removed by a bunch of military personnel? Can you see that lots of people will be killed? Do you think this is going to move your country forward?

I do not agree with Zelaya, or the way he wants to hold on to power, but that is not the way to treat a president elected by the people.

I am happy that my country is free from him. we do not need this kind of people representing our country. We need better education, better health and better democracy in Hondras. we do not whant violence. the solution is not to change the constitution or the law for worth is to change the mentality of the people that represent our country. We need a president that his or (her) priority is to look for new solutions for everyone in Honduras not just for them(to became rich and their own family). we are tire tire to see how much unjustice is going on in Honduras. Please WE NEED DEMOCRACY.
No another Fiel or Chavez. Thank you
