Platense vs. Hispano Game Postponed

Problems with the stadium light towers postponed the Hispano/Platense soccer game last night.

The teams were scheduled to play at the Carlos Miranda stadium in Comayagua, but heavy rains on Friday caused failures in the transformers, which could not be repaired in time for the match to proceed yesterday evening.

Officials of both clubs failed to agree on the time to play the rescheduled game (set for today), as the visitors sought to play at 11:00 am, while the locals insisted they play at 2:30 pm.

In the absence of an agreement between the two parties, the National League intervened and scheduled the soccer match for 2:00 pm.
