The Presidency of the Republic to the Honduran people communicates the following:

First: That President Pepe Lobo, on Thursday appointed Mr. Rigoberto Romero, to serve as president of the commission set up by the Honduran Telecommunications Company (HONDUTEL), replacing the engineer Jesús Castellanos.

Second: That also appointed as a member of the commission for HONDUTEL, is engineer Eduardo Pavón Cambar, replacing the engineer David Rivera.

Third: That the President of the Union of Telecommunications in Honduras (SITRATELH), Orlando Mejía, remains a member of the HONDUTEL commission.

Fourth: That President Pepe Lobo met this afternoon and evening with engineers Rigoberto Romero and Eduardo Pavón Cambar, in order to expedite the process to find a solution to the financial problem facing the Honduran Telecommunications Company.
