Part of the dredged materials for the project will serve as fill for the future container terminal. The works are due to start in the second quarter of 2008.

The company has also recently announced that the GLF consortium of which it is a part has been awarded a US$80 million design construct contract for the extension of La Galeota port in Trinidad for NEC, the national oil company.
