The Mayor of Tegucigalpa, Ricardo Álvarez reported that in January, the capital will invest 100 million lempiras, and in February, over 190 million, to repair the degradation of roadways which took place over the rainy season. Comayagüela is one of the projects to be completed. Tegucigalpa authorities determined that for the best results, Comayagüela will be split into quadrants for the rebuilding.
Areas to be addressed are: Concepción, Lempira, Villa Adela, La Bolsa, La Granja, Maradiaga, Tiloarque, La Primavera, Bella Vista, Santa Fe, Belén, Centroamérica Oeste, Country Club, Mayangle, Monseńor Fiallos, Tres de Mayo, Divanna, Centroamericana, Cabañas or Nixon street, del Norte boulevard, El Chile, and Cerro Grande, among others.
