Passengers who buy tickets at a certain price can get a second ticket for a companion for free on the same flight.

The offer has been extended from 19 June to 26 June.

Passengers must travel between 16 June and 30 September and tickets must be booked by Friday, 26 June.

Tickets are changeable for a fee of US$100 plus any increase in fare. Changes in tickets to flights to Jamaica cost US$50 plus the fare increase.

The second person is still liable to pay all taxes on the tickets.

The airline stated that full–fare tickets to the US this summer start at US$308, but that seats are limited at that price and may not be available on every flight.

The deal also covers flights to La Ceiba, Honduras for US$398.

According to Louise Zakine, sales and marketing manager at Travelcity, one of the travel agencies selling the deal, residents are snapping up the tickets.

“We had a good response on the buy one get one free offer from Cayman Airways, even more because we are also running our own special offer until 24 July, book any travel before 24 July and [have a chance to] win $3,000,” she said.
