Valenzuela Comments on Honduras

“We’re disappointed by this decision since the United States had hoped the Congress would have approved his return,” so said Assistant Secretary of State for Western Hemisphere Affairs, Arturo Valenzuela.

“The United States will continue to work with Honduran and international partners to help fulfill our overarching goal of supporting the restoration of democratic and constitutional order,” said Valenzuela. “We are encouraged by the strong call for national reconciliation made by President-elect Pepe Lobo, which also marks an important step in that direction.”

First of all Susana, paying attention to what Valenzuela may have to say is of the upmost importance simply because this guy Valenzuela is going to be deciding on many issues about us and as well as many other countries around us, his aproach it is not looking very good so far.

The statements you read here should be really and seriously taken into consideration, and Hondurans should put pressure on the State Department of the USA so that Valenzuela is not allowed to be so lobe sided when referring to Honduras, or did you miss how he keeps on calling for a “restoration of democratic and constitutional order” while totally ignoring the findings of many people, including a study carried by the ‘Library of Congress’ and one by the Political Department of the UNO, where it was clearly stated that Honduras, in the process that led to the ousting of Zelaya acted and conducted within proper interpretation of the law.

The Constitution of Honduras is by default, a very constitutional instrument of law, which was written by a group of legislators who were democratically selected.

So Susana, it follows, if this Mr. Valenzuela is allowed to freely keep referring to what hapenned in Honduras as a deviation from the “Path of Democracy” and “Constitutional Order” he is practically saying that Honduras simply “got away” with doing something wrong, and that is not the case.

Honduras, and us, its people, need to keep on fighting to clear our name.

He has no right to sully it, and he is simply throwing dirt on our name, we do not deserve that.

He still is on the side of Chavez ideology, and if do not act now to stand our ground, he will keep on trying to find ways to please his masters, and most of them are very leftist and not happy that that moster, Zelaya, and his friend Chavez did not get their way.

Honduras has made it’s mark – why should we even take note of Valenzuela or Venezuela. We have to
concentrate only on making Honduras a better place. The agreement was that Congress would decide on Zelaya and they did – and yes we are going forward not backwards.

VALENZUELA AND VENEZUELA ARE VERY SIMILAR IN MORE THAN ONE WAY. THIS CHILEAN PRO AYENDE DUDE IS SO IGNORANT ABOUT THE TRUE INTERESTS IN LATIN AMERICA THAT IT IS RIDICULOUS. IT IS VERY EASY TO BE A MARXIST DRIVING A ROLLS ROYCE MR. VENEZUELA… EXCUSE ME, I MEANT VALENZUELA. YOU SHOULD GO AND HELP YOUR HERO IN VENEZUELA TO STAY AFLOAT. HE IS SINKING VERY FAST.
IN THE MEANWHILE, LEAVE HONDURAS ALONE!!! WE ARE DOING OK.
