Zelaya Visiting Latin American Countries

Former president Manuel Zelaya was in Ecuador yesterday, where he spoke with Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa, the current rotatory president of UNASUR. Ecuadorian official sources reported that Zelaya requested constitutional guarantees that would allow exiled Hondurans to return to their country.

“Our civil and political rights should be respected. The persecution against those who have denounced the coup should finish,” Zelaya said.

The ousted president demanded freedom of expression for the Honduran people, saying that “those who do not agree with the way in which the country is being ruled since the coup should express it without being persecuted or killed.”

Zelaya also asked to be a member of the Central American Parliament.

Manuel Zelaya Rosales started to tour several Latin American countries on Monday. Today he travels to Venezuela to meet with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez.

I do agree with the comment by Poolshark, but he must paid for the crimes to the people as the girl who died because of him and know his son do not have a mother. If and remembers return to Hunduras, he will start a revolution and the introduction of Chavez plan to made Hunduras a salalite of Venezuela. The people must fire against Lobo, because he is not a strong President as everybody was sinking. The president of a nation can not be asking a perdon to others and let the country along without any social reforms and just wonder about HIM. Zelaya must paid for all his crime as the others who support him to convert Hunduras a comunist country.
