Zelaya Will Stay in Embassy for Christmas

The more than 100 troops surrounding the diplomatic compound in Tegucigalpa will allow Zelaya’s relatives to bring him a Christmas meal of traditional dishes from his native Olancho province, where he made his name as a logger and rancher.

“For Christmas, the army has told me they will let my mother and my children in and we will be here saying a prayer for the Honduran people,” Zelaya told Reuters in a phone interview from the embassy complex where he has spent the last three months.Read Reuters Article here

    You are 100% right Al.
The news people who support the left seem to be the suicide bomber version of the media.

They inmolate themselves and the freedom of speech in order to bring those powers in, and I say they inmolate themselves because as you say, in a socialist regime the only news that are carried to the people are the ones that serve the governments interest.

Even today, if you were to speak with recently escaped Cubans you will see how much they ignore of what is really going on in the world.

And you are right about wrong becoming good also, the world is turning on itself, it may not be the end of it, but it may be the end of civilized living.

the honduran government should put more attention on mel’s criminal activeties and special show his thefts.,; most people dont care if somebody ignores the constitution but when you show….and proof that he stole many millions of dollars …….that has a lot more impact ….and cannot be questioned ….I AM WISHING YOU ALL A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS….we have a white christmas here in new brunswick canada with about 12 ” snow……..

The interesting thing is that these leftist regimes don’t even like the leftist media. They want to control all the news to their advantage like in communist Cuba.
If there was any justice at all, Z’liar would spend his Xmas behind bars like any other criminal. The world is a big mess. Bad things are becoming good and good things are becoming bad.
    God help us all!

Poolshark, that adress, is it for the news group?

Let me know, it would be great to let them know that not everybody is as ignorant as it is required in order to believe their idiotic assertions.

Makes one wonder if they actually read about the Library of Congress report about the ousting of Zelaya being within the interpretations of Honduran law, and / or the results of the investigation launched by the political department of the UNO as asked by the president of that organization, the one that declared that Honduras was being wrongly treated beacuse there was no ‘Coupe d’ Etat”.

I believe that they are behaving like college kids, with no sense of responsability whatsoever and that they see the news as their new toy to play with.

MrS. Reuters (by that I mean Mica) why don’t you try and find out why Xiomara (Mel’s wife) is not on that list of people that may be visiting for Christmas??

Well, it could very well be because he beat the crap out of her, cracking some ribs even due to how savage the beating was, and it hapenned, because he reported later that she barely escaped a kidnapping attempt and was injured in the process, she ended up in the Military Hospital instead. (ironic isn’t it)

He beat the crap out of her because she dared ask him why was it that Patricia Rodas was being allowed to behave like if she was his wife instead (they are lovers you know).

You want witnesses, interview “Father Tamayo” who was beaten up himself when trying to stop the savage beating Zelaya was giving his wife.

It is all true, it is up to you to seek proof and report it, that is, if you want to report events instead of opinions.

These freaking leftist reporters will not stop!!!

Reuters, there was no coupe in Honduras on June 28, 2009, but the ousting, legally, of a law breaker.

It was not as you say and imply, a consequence of Zelaya angering the rich and powerful, and it is not a rumor that he wanted to change the constitution.

He was ousted because he broke the law when he pushed for a constitutional change that would allow him to stay in government as president for and indefinite amount of time, a la Castro, Chavez, Correa, Morales and a few others.

This is not in agreement with the people of Honduras, and do not get this part wrong, it is very obvious for those that want and are willing to see the truth that Zelaya did not have the backing of the Hondurans, for as you can check on reported news, every call he made to the people went unheeded, he called for chaos, it did not happen, he called for bloodshed by asking Hondurans to go out onto the streets and fight the soldiers, that did not happen either, and lastly, he called for the people not to go out and vote as a sign of support for him, instead the people went and voted in masse, record numbers of voters electing the new leadership of teir country in a very democratic way, for your info.

When you, leftist media people do what you do, the harm you bring to society is enormous, too bad there is no punishment for irresponsible reporting, which by the way is not the same that free speech.
