“We are not able to say how many (citations) prosecutors will produce, but yes, we can say that later next week they will be doing that”, the Director of Public Prosecutor’s Office, Rolando Argueta, told local Honduran media. Argueta said he expects the investigation to determine, “Whether there is criminal responsibility in these cases”.

The director stressed that the name of these people will not be known until the Public Prosecutor submits the findings, which, he said, will be “backed” by research. “We’ll get to the end to obtain a conviction,” according to Argueta, who pointed out that the authorities of the Public Prosecutor’s Office have the will to fight corruption and purge it of such criminals.
