The president is expected to hold a discussion on business opportunities available in Honduras, as President Hernandez’s visit is primarily to attract Taiwanese investment to Honduras.
He will be leading a delegation of 12 members, including first lady, Ana Garcia de Hernandez; Foreign Minister, Arturo Corrales Alvarez; Minister of Economic Development, Alden Rivera Montes; Roberto Ordonez, Minister of Infrastructure and Utilities; Honduran Secretary of State, and presidential advisor, Ebal Diaz Lupian; and Vice Foreign Minister, Roberto Ochoa Madrid.
The visit will take place on July 24th and 25th, as part of President Hernandez’s Asia trip, which includes Japan and South Korea.
President Hernandez’s daughter graduated from Taiwan’s Tamkang University in June.
