Palacios, with Tottenham Hotspur, and Thomas, playing for Wigan, dropped out of coach Juan De Dios Castillo’s squad on Saturday. Emilio Izaguirre with Scottish club Celtic is also out with an injury.

Castillo said the injured trio would not be replaced.

Ramon Nunez playing with Leeds United and Edgard Alvarez for Bari will not take part in the away match at New Zealand on Oct. 9th. However, they will dress for the match against Guatemala three days later in Los Angeles.
