Another Tremor on the Islands

This morning from Utila, one of the Bay Islands off the coast of Honduras, a citizen informed Hondurasnews.com that an aftertremor was felt this morning. “It was strong enough that plates in the house shook.”

As of this hour, the USGS has not updated to report any activity in the area of Honduras.

    Glen, I am not aware of any problem with Earthquakes in Honduras such as Mexico and Guatemala have experienced–I know the Honduran North Coast pretty well and I would recommend that you look at Trujillo Bay area–it fits everything you outlined

    i’m jst look’n 4 the info. on the quake . i’m mov’n 2 honduras in apx. 12/24 mts. , i’v yet 2 choose a start’n point ( CITY ? TOWN ) . i’m look’n @ utila , roatan or 1 of the 3 major northrn cities !! some where english is used , not 2 huge of a city , close 2 would do , friendly warm people , close 2 ( 10/ 15 min 2 ) gas , food , beach , shopp’n & was also wounder’n about schools ? quakes r every where , so any info. would help !!!thanks , from TRURO , NOVA SCOTIA , CANADA !!!
